Robin Turnau has enjoyed a 20-year career at Vermont Public Radio, serving as vice president of development, director of development, development manager, and membership drive coordinator before becoming President and CEO in February 2009. During her tenure at VPR she managed a successful $2M capital campaign for VPR’s state of the art headquarters, she launched VPR’s Producers Circle program for annual donors of $1000 or more, and she founded the Phillips Legacy Society for donors who have included VPR in their estate plans.
In 2006 she was awarded the "Development Professional of the Year" award by the Public Radio Association of Development Officers. She lives with her husband and two children in Charlotte
